  12. I believe there is a Hayes Accura 28.8 V.34 fax/modem in my computer.  It
  13. has been fine for a long time - my normal setup string is "at&f" - but all
  14. of a sudden it wants an ATZ before it will work.  Otherwise, it either
  15. won't connect, or it connects, gives garbage, then disconnects.  Any
  16. ideas? Is it dying?

  18. By the way, it sometimes tells me I'm connected at 41600 bps!  hmm ...
